Press release: Crop protection industry very active with label extensions for minor uses

Recently the Dutch Board for the Authorisation of Plant Protection Products and Biocides (Ctgb) approved several label extensions for the fungicide Flint of Bayer CropScience. Extension was approved for use in the cultivation of fibre plants, madder, the uncovered cultivation of root parsley, parsnip, turnip, rutabaga and black salsify and the breeding and primary propagation of arable, vegetable and fruit crops, herbs and ornamentalswithin glashouses.
BASF Nederland BV has submitted label extension together with the re-registrastion of the product Scala. Now the re-registration is finalized, the label is extended with the use in the protected cultivation of cucumber, zuchinni, gherkin, the unprotected cultivation of grape, blackberry and raspberry and in tree nurseries of apple and pear. Scala can be used for the control of botryis and scab.
